Malcolm X, Franklin, Rose

Malcolm X, Franklin and Rose's esssays all differ because they were all learning something at a different time in each of their lives. Malcolm was imprisoned at a older age and decided to better himself by learning and educating himself on his own. He did not have any help from anyone. Just his books. Benjamin had the ability to go to school and choose what he wanted to learn. He was able to start out at an early age. He had different learning experiences, working with his father for two years, working with his brother. Always getting his hands on books to read. He was always learning something. To me, Mike was pushed into education, he had it just because it was there. He went to school, he may not have learned as much as someone would need, he had trouble learning, he was bad in math, his teachers didnt know how to engage the attention of the students, he had a hard learning experience, but at the end he learned a lot. About his friends, and his teachers.
